Analyst, Product & Pricing

We have an immediate opening for an energetic, motivated and driven individual to join the product management team of one of the fastest growing Canadian-owned property and casualty insurance companies in Canada. Reporting to the Manager, Products and Pricing, you are responsible for all phases of new and existing product research, product design and implementation.

• Providing business and underwriting consulting expertise to Head Office, Regional and Divisional stakeholders.
• Supporting and working with field operations to design and implement product changes to achieve corporate growth and profitability objectives.
• Facilitating discussions with Regional and Division Managements, IT and other internal stakeholders.
• Co-ordinating the product management process.
• Conducting demographic and other consumer research to understand the needs of the consumer for product development initiatives.
• Conducting competitive product and pricing research.
• Developing and maintaining databases on competitor products and rates.
• Assisting/monitoring the performance of the portfolio against the operational plan.
• Completing underwriting and rate filings.
• Creating and maintaining Product & Pricing manuals and ensuring that changes are implemented correctly in a timely manner.
• Developing and maintaining forms and policy wordings for associated products.
